Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms apply when you download, install or play Zillville or use the Zillville launcher. By playing you agree to them. They are set by the Zillville team, an independent project from Belgium (zillvillesupport@gmail.com).
1. Early access
Zillville is free and in early access. Things will change, break, be rebalanced or be removed. Progress, items and in-game money (Zills) may be reset when needed, for example after a bug or an exploit. The servers may be offline for updates or maintenance.
Everything is wiped at release: when the full version comes out, all early-access accounts, characters, items, Zills and chat are deleted and everyone starts fresh. We announce the date beforehand.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 16 years old. Zillville contains fictional violence, weapons and crime.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Usernames and character names must not be offensive, impersonate someone, or contain personal information.
4. Rules
Don't:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat or in anything you draw;
- cheat: use hacks, bots, modified clients, or exploit bugs on purpose (report them on the Discord instead);
- attack, overload or try to break into the servers, or access other players' accounts;
- sell or trade accounts, items or Zills for real money;
- share other people's personal information.
We may warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and remove content, at our discretion. Report problems or illegal content to zillvillesupport@gmail.com or on the Discord; tell us what happened, where and which usernames were involved.
5. Virtual items and Zills
Items, Zills, looks and other game content have no real-money value and aren't your property; you get a personal right to use them in the game.
6. Ownership
The game, its code, art, sound and names belong to us or to the creators listed on the licences page. You may record and stream the game and post videos of it. You may not copy, sell or redistribute the game files. Things you create in the game (such as drawn heads and outfits) stay yours, but you allow us to store and show them in the game.
7. No warranty, liability
The game is provided "as is", free of charge. We are not liable for lost progress or for damage from using the game, except where the law doesn't allow this to be excluded, such as for intent or gross negligence. Your rights as a consumer under Belgian and EU law are not affected.
8. Ending
You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may end the service or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; important changes are announced on the Discord and in the launcher. Belgian law applies, without taking away the protection of the law of the country you live in.
