A top-down open-world crime MMO. Take on the crews, drive any car, work a job and trade with players from all over, in one shared city.
The Zillville launcher isn't code-signed yet, so your computer asks once before the first start:
Windows: on “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
Mac: open the .dmg and drag the launcher into Applications. If macOS says it can't be opened, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Linux: make the AppImage executable (right-click → Properties → “Allow executing”, or
chmod +x), or install the .deb.
After that, the launcher installs the game, keeps it up to date and starts it.
Why play
Crews hold fenced compounds across the neighbourhoods. Their gunners flank, sprint and push. Go in with a party, clear the yard and take on the elite lieutenants.
Every gun is your own and gains levels from the hits you land. Pistols, SMGs, rifles, plus a bat, a karambit and a katana for close work. Attachments change how a gun handles, never how hard it hits.
Jump into any car parked on the street. Real weight, real drifts, engines recorded from real simulations. Getting across the city has never felt this good.
Cook in the diner, sit down at the Trade House and swap gear face to face, and spend your Zills in the delis, the gun store, the pawn shop and the clothing stores.
Zills and ammo drop on the street. A quest chain takes you from your first fight to level 10 with no grinding gaps. Each job turns in where the next one starts.
Four clothing shops and a barbershop sell every look in the game, and the custom editor lets you draw your own outfit and head.

The world
You start in the safe streets of Downtown. The further out you go, the tougher the crews get. Each part of the city covers a band of levels, and enemy name tags show how dangerous they are.
Where you start. Shops, the Trade House, the diner and your first contacts. No crews.
Tenement blocks and corner shops, with crews roaming the streets and holding their first yards.
Fenced factory yards with containers, forklifts and gunners on patrol.
The crews' headquarters in the north. Bring a party.
Across the bridge. Coming in a later update.
Fair play
Yes, the download is free while the game is in early access.
Windows, Mac and Linux, through the Zillville launcher. iPhone, iPad and Android builds are being worked on. One account and one shared city for all of them.
You install the Zillville launcher once. It checks for updates whenever you open it, downloads only the files that changed, and has a Play button. It updates itself too.
On Windows, click More info → Run anyway on the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. On a Mac, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. It happens once, because the launcher isn't code-signed yet.
Yes. Everyone plays in the same city. Make a party to share quest kills and XP, and meet at the Trade House to swap gear.
Yes. Most of the city is open PvP. The spawn plaza, the delis and the clinics are safe zones, and a notice tells you when you cross into or out of one. A downed player crawls instead of dying on the spot and has to be finished off, so your friends can still save you.
That's the plan. Early access is a test: when the full version releases, all accounts and progress are wiped and everyone starts fresh. Follow the Discord for the date.
Post it in the Discord. That's the fastest way to reach us.
